Raydo
Quick Start

Quick Start

The shortest path to your first real task in Raydo Desktop.

You do not need to configure everything before you begin. The fastest path is simple: install Raydo, connect a model, start one real task, then turn repeatable work into structure over time.

Before you begin

  • install the Raydo Desktop build for your system
  • have one working model account or API key ready
  • keep the network available during first launch so setup and basic checks can finish smoothly

What to do the first time you open it

1. Finish basic setup

Start by connecting the model or service you use most. You do not need to configure every option on day one.

2. Start with a real task

Open Chat and enter something you already need to do today. Do not invent a demo prompt just to test the product. Real work is the fastest way to see whether Raydo fits.

3. Add a role or template next

If you notice a type of work keeps coming back, turn it into a Role or start from a Template. That way the next run does not begin from a blank slate.

What to do on day two

Check Dashboard

See what is active and what may need attention.

Check Inbox

Pull unfinished work back into view instead of leaving it spread across conversations.

Check Skills and Workflows

Once a method starts repeating, turn it into a reusable capability or path.

When to open the more advanced areas

Runs / Approvals

Use these when you need to review execution or confirm key steps.

raydo CLI

Use it when you need diagnostics, exports, automation, or remote support.

Read-only web mode

Use it when you need browser-based inspection or acceptance without opening write access.

A simpler way to think about onboarding

Treat Raydo as a fuller work entry point, not as a system you have to learn all at once. Get a result first, then add structure when it starts to earn its place.
